The High Voltage (HV) Cable Route Refurbishment programmes aimed to achieve the replacement and renewal of degraded HV feeder cable route, in particular at bridge interfaces where feeder cables transfer from ground to bridged route. The works comprised an extensive change account comprising accessibility issues where routes had become overgrown, changes to legislation regarding line access, retaining walls requiring construction and cable trough found to be in an unfit condition (due to capacity and/or degradation).

Tier One Commercial Management were engaged by the client to provide project Quantity Surveying support, successfully managing a substantive change account and multiple subcontractors.
